( It's been a long time since he's heard himself do that so her response might be as warranted as his own except that he doesn't have a response because the sensory memory of her hair threading through his fingers and punching him in the gut first thing in the morning is overwhelming as soon as he sees it. Felucia is both in the far away past and distant present, and he is momentarily preoccupied with the sticky, humid memory of it.
The forgiving thing about a video communique is that it's difficult to figure out where the other person is looking, so his preoccupation with her mouth might not be as obvious. )
