It wasn't so much a push or a tug, but like embers in a furnace- constantly burning and latent, but there. Carefully reaching out with the force, he senses a few emotions, though none of them truly dangerous. Not like the tension and strain around the guarded Jedi Council hours before. Hours? Days? He has no idea, which is cause for concern.
What he does feel are things like caution, curiosity, and the barest flash of threat, though the other emotions were far stronger. Another Jedi? The control on their emotions, whoever it was, wasn't that of a seasoned Jedi, but perhaps a youngling or a padawan.
He finishes what he's doing so his hands are free as the unknown presence moves closer yet. The youthful nature of the voice does surprise him, and his eyebrows raise as he half-turns to face her. ]

If she does live there, he owes her an apology for barging in- which he technically gave her already. The need to fix things when he was stressed seems to be a habit he could never quite get rid of. Her stance spoke of belonging, though the grip on her staff was enough to make the knuckles whiten, clearly deeming him a potential threat. While it's true he could very well be a threat, he hoped being a Jedi would have some sort of calming effect as far as his intrusion went. ]
